Gracie Caldwell Branch was my great aunt she was a bookeeper for Harrison Typewriter Co.Her father was Arthur W.Branch and Her mother was Lula Ester Robbin Branch. She had one sister Goldie Branch HooverOf Wilmington Nc. A brother in law Earl Luther Hoover One niece Melva Joyce Hoover Braswell.

I was sitting and remebering today.Grany had a bird that belonged to Gracie and I guess that Granny took it when gracie passed so as kids growing up David and myself was around this bird the bird's name was Polly. my brother and I taught this bird to say awful things everyone knows how kids are.Oneday Polly said "polly wants a cracker" Granny started laughing hystericallydavid and I were confused thinkin why is granny laughing so.....well come to find out Aunt Gracie had been trying to get this bird to say that for years and it had been years since Aunt Gracie had passed, I never kneew her,But this bird just out of the blue Says "Polly wants a cracker".
