William E. Midcalf, age 88, formerly of Martinsville, passed away about 10:30 a.m. Friday in Cedar Rapids, Ia. He was born on December 11, 1888 in Martinsville.
Surviving are: two sons, Willard and Rolla Jack, both of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Reba Liebe of Marion, Ia.; four sisters, Mrs. Nan Disher of Shipley, Mrs. Min Higley of W. Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Mary Byrd of Wood River, and Mrs. Grace Filman of Baltimore, Md.
Funeral servies were held today at the Greenwell Funeral Home. Burial was in the Medsker Cemetery.
