Margarett Hinkle Bigham Freeman was born Feb. 26, 1831 in Bedford Co., TN. She was the first wife of Theophilus Rucker Freeman,Sr. They were married March 31, 1852, Rutherford Co., TN. They were the parents of Joseph Elihue-1853, Mary Ann-1854, Daniel Swan-1856, and Robert Allen-1858 They had seven half siblings from T.R.'s second wife, Nancy E. Clark. The family name spelling of Bigham is confirmed by past family marriage records in Rutherford Co. TN. (i.e. Frances McFarland) May they rest in peace.
