Mrs. Cofer was born in California Sept. 14, 1881, and had lived in Klamath Falls since 1909. She moved here when her daughter, Ruth, was three months old. Another daughter, Helen, was born in 1931 in Klamath Falls. Both preceded their mother in death.
Mrs. Cofer's husband, the late Fred Cofer, was mayor of Klamath Falls in 1932.
Mrs. Cofer was a member of the Order of Eastern Star since 1924 and served as pianist and worthy matron. She was also a member of the Klamath Falls Garden Club and was a long-time member of the First Methodist church, which she also seved as organist.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Gordon Barrie, Klamath Falls; two granddaughters, Betty Foster and Janet Walker, borh of Portland; and three great-grandsons.
Her parents, the late Clara Christoe and Robert P. Mounter, were married in England on May 31, 1874.
