Helen A. Watson Sutherlan, 80,of Springdale died Wednesday, April 29, 1998 in Nail, she was the daughter of George Watson and Mary Simmons Watson.
She was the owner and operator of Sutherlan's Grocery Store for over 40 years and a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God of Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Arthur Sutherlan and four siblings.
Survivors include two sons, Charles P. Sutherlan of Lowell and B. Joe Sutherlan of Springdale, a daughter Pauline Pollock of Springdale, a sister Lois Davis of Lowell, sic grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Springdale, with burial at Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, with the family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.
