Edgar (Bully) Harp

Funeral services for Edgar (BUlly) Harp, 71, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Bradley Chapel with the Reverend Clarence Guthrie officiating.

Burial will follow in Warner Memorial Cemetery with Pete Jones, Gene Lerrnley, Sherd parker, Jabo Burk, Clyde Ray Montgomery, and Doodles Robertson serving as pallbearers.

Bradley Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harp died Wednesday in a local medical center. He was born in Checotah on September 14, 1916, the son of William R. and Ethel Harp. He was reared and educated in the Warner area.

He and his wife, the former Viola Fain, were married June 20, 1942 in Warner. They maintained their home in Warner until 1958 when they established residence in Porter.

Mr. Harp had been a dairy farmer for many years and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Family survivors include his wife, Viola, of the home; a daughter, Collene Howell, of Lenexa, KS.; two sons, Garry and David, both of Porter; two brothers, Homer, of Modesto, Calif., and Asker, of Stinet, Texas; three sisters, Nola Thacker, of Paris, Texas, Essie Kizzia, of Henderson, Nevada, and Betty Rogers, of Borger, Texas; and three grandchildren.
