Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Tuesday in O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home in Lillington. Burial at a later date in the Good Shepherd [Forest Hill] Cemetery in Palm City, Fla.
Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survived by: Wife, Betty; daughters, Cheryl Wray, Sandra Maxey and Jacqueline Brown; sons, Edward Maxey, Robert Maxey and Steve; sister, Barbara Sack; half sister, Susan Felker; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
