Michael Dean Courtway of Union, Missouri was born February 18, 1956 in Washington, Missouri, the son of Raymond Courtway, and Corene Courtway (nee) Courtoise. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Corene Courtway, three brothers: Clarence, David, and Joe Courtway, and two sisters: Mildred Fox, and Lorna Revelle.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Courtway , nee Koester,of Union, MO; three sisters, Geraldine Briggs of Beaufort, MO; Mary Turntine and her husband ,Dale ,of Leasburg, MO; Joyce Todaro and her husband, Tony, of Union, MO; five brothers: Raymond " Shorty" Courtway and his wife, Loraine, of Union, MO; Bill Courtway and his wife, Lucy ,of Leasburg, MO; Henry Courtway and his wife, Donna, of St. Clair, MO; Clyde Courtway of Potosi, MO; Lawrence Courtway of Leasburg, MO; and by his godson A.J. Hulsey, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The funeral service was held Tuesday September 11, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO with Sister Michael Anne officiating. Internment followed in the Union Cemetery in Union, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Courtway Family.
