My Great-Grandfather James was the son of Thomas McCummins (1814-1887) and Nancy Jane McDermott McCummins (1837-1887). He married Olena Marie Duffy on May 29, 1894 in St. Mary's Church in New Castle, Lawrence County. Pa. They had the following children:
(1) John Henry McCummins (1895-1951)
(2) Ethel Mae McCummins Zamba (1897-1965)
(3) Loyal Edward McCummins Sr. (1899-1977)
(4) Leo James McCummins Sr. (1903-1972)
(5) Erla Agnes McCummins Wilson (1905-1989)
(6) Paul Fred McCummins (1910-1973)

James worked at the American Tin Plate Company in Donora, Pa. He died from injuries he got on the job.
