Mr. Pallardy died Sunday at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. He had been a machinist for the American Car Foundry in St. Charles. He was a member of the American Legion and Laborers International Union of North America No. 110.

Surviving are his wife, Beulah Pallardy of St. Charles; one daughter, Patricia Haake of St. Charles, and one son, Ervin W. Hoffmann of Lenexa, Kan.; one brother, Andrew Pallardy of St. Charles, and two sisters, Agnes Shivley and Katherine Singleton, both of St. Charles; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
