YORK RICHARD BREY, age 78 passed away January 21, 2009.
He was born December 30, 1930 in Jamaica, New York to Rudolph and Irene (York) Brey.
Mr. Brey was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended Fordham University and retired from IBM.
Mr. Brey is survived by his children, Maureen Brey Cunningham, Kevin Brey, Chrissy Brey Davis and Stacey Brey Paulsen; grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan, Eric, Collin, Will, Callie, Brady and Mitchell.
Mr. Brey loved God, his children, and his grandchildren with all of his heart. An avid sports fan, Mr. Brey was an enthusiastic reader, writer, and patron of music.
Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 388-2711.
