Parley Gentry, Vidor - Parley H. "Pie" Gentry, 73, of Vidor died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont after an illness. Funeral services are pending at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A native and lifelong resident of Vidor, he was a retired logger.

Survivors include two sons, Leroy Gentry and Raymond Gentry. both of Vidor; two daughters, Jessie Miller of Kountze and Alpha Mae Deville of Vidor; three brothers O.C. Gentry and Johnny Gentry, both of Vidor and Wade Gentry of Mauriceville; three sisters, Martha Holland of Vidor, Altha Stanley of Beaumont and Millie Hughes of Orange; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
