Daughter of Early Wichita Merchant
Mrs. David S. McGonigle, 333 N. Bluff, daughter of an early-day Wichita merchant, died Sunday after an illness of several months.
Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. J. J. McNamara. She attended Wichita parochial schools and Georgetown Visitation Convent, Washington, D. C. She was married to David S. McGonigle in 1915 and they resided in Kansas City, Mo., until his death in 1932. Mrs. McGonigle was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Lockhart, 1 Highland Road, Eastborough, and Mrs. W. P. Buck Sr., 7 Lynwood Blvd., Eastborough; two nieces, Mrs. Robert Kirk, 672 N. Armour, and Mrs. Charles Dooling, 3903 E. Kellogg, and a nephew, David Lockhart, Casper, Wyo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Blessed Sacrament Church. The Rev. James A. Spexarth, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Lahey's Crest Hill Mortuary.
The family has requested that friends make remembrances in her name to the charity of their choice.
