As anyone who has researched the Tackett's for close to 40 years like I have, we all are VERY aware it's a great possibility the John Sizemore I have linked to Grampa may not be accurate as his father. We are also very much aware of the fact there were MANY John Sizemore's that could be his father. As MY choice & only My choice, I choose to unlink Grampa from the John Sizemore I have him linked to. Also this will keep the unimportant lectures I receive on this subject from occurring.

On one of my visits to Johnson Co. with a cousin(Remembering Them), we were determined to locate Hiram & Lucinda's graves. The late Burl "Whitey" Cantrell passed us in a 4-wheel drive. My cousin flagged him down, told him what we were trying to do & immediately we were met with the response he would take us to the graves. What a ride we had going up into the hills! We wouldn't of made it in anything but a 4-wheel drive.

Alsey Tackett Blevins was named as the mother of Hiram C. Tackett on his death certificate and John Sizemore his father.
