A. W. SECREST IS DEAD

After an illness of several months, A. W. Secrest. passed away at 10:35 last night at his home southeast oi El Reno. He leaves a wife, a daughter, Mrs. Wm H. Seamore of Shawnee, a brother, Louis O. Secrest of Hebron, Nebraska, and a sister, Miss Mary Secrest, who made her home with him.

Deceased was born April 30, 1852 near Belmont, Ohio, and therefore lacked a little more than two months of being sixty years of age. He came to El Reno in April, 1901, from Hebron, Nebraska, was a member of-the Knights Templar degree of the Masonic order, and also belonged to the A.O.U.W and Degree of Honor.

The funeral, services will be held at the home on Sunday afternoon at 1 30, and will be conducted by Rev. Taggert of the First M. E. church. Following this service, the Masons will have charge of the ceremonies, both at the home and at the grave. The remains will be interred in the El Reno cemetery.

The deceased was a man of sterling honor and integrity and was held in the highest esteem by many hundreds of friends here who extend their deepest sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
