She was 85. Born in Burlington, Va. on March 28, 1863, she lived in Globe the last 55 years of her life. Her late husband, Louis, was in the transfer business and owned considerable mining property. He died 35 years before her. Since then, Nellie lived with an invalid son, William. When he died, she lived with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thomas. It was there that she died, 232 S. First St., after a two-year illness. In addition to her daughter, she was survived by four sons, Fred, George, Edward and Emerson.
