Bogalusa-Mae Mizell Adcox, 45, died yesterday at North Shore Regional Medical Center in Slidell.
She was a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Slidell.
She is survived by her fiancee Jimmy Guillory of Slidell; her son Jamey Alan Taylor of Bogalusa; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Adcox of Slidell; her parents, Shelton and Elouise Mizell of Boaglusa, her brother, Ray Mizell of Bogalusa; her sister, Fay Faulkner of Baton Rouge; her sister and brother-in-law Ray and Shirley Evans of Bogalusa; her nieces, Maire Day of Vancouver, Washington, JoAnne Smith and Shelly Mizell both of Bogalusa, Margaret Slezak of Baton Rouge, and Kerie Heil of Baker.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Gene Mizell.
Mizell was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Bogalusa.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and tomorrow from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. when fumeral services will commence in the Brown-Mcgehee Funeral Home chapel.
The Rev. Kevin Cox and the Rev. Ronald Wilson will officiate.
Interment will follow at Mizell Cemetery.
