He was born Nov. 4, 1920, in Springfield, the son of James Oliver and Grace Prinzavalli Farley. He married Marguerite Irene Thoburn in 1940. Mr. Farley worked at Pillsbury Mills for 40 years, retiring in 1982. He was a horse calvaryman of Troop F 106th Calvary, Camp Lincoln and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving at Pearl Harbor.
Survivors: wife, Marguerite Irene; two sons and three daughters; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Graveside Services: Calvary Cemetery, the Rev. Frank O'Hara officiating. Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
