She was born April 20, 1921,in Hollidaysburg, the daughter of the late Sherman and Mildred (Stiffler) Wilt. She married James G. Eagan June 2, 1962, in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Eagan was a member of the Church of God, Lakemont.She had been employed as a waitress at Woolworth's, Altoona, and Heidelberg Country Club. Mrs. Eagan was a member and treasurer of True Blue Sunday school class, and helped organize the Lakemont School Alumni Association.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Carol Wiley of Lakemont; two sisters: Betty Stienger of Phoenix and Miriam Kinsel in IN; two brothers: Doty and Gary, both of Lakemont. She is survived by three grandchildren: Lori Wiley, Lisa Ecker, and Steve Massaro; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Valah Mae Wilt and Anna Martha Wilt; and a brother, Glen
David Wilt. Doris greatly loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Friends received at Plank, Stitt, Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Services will be held there at 10 a.m. Saturday, by the Rev. Mark Rhodes. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
