Born Oct. 8, 1923, in Rushville, she was the daughter of William and Naomi (Shaw) Sharpe, both deceased.
Mrs. Glisson lived her entire life in Rushville and was a 1942 graduate of Rushville High School. She worked for GTE in Rushville and Connersville as a telephone operator for 40 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rushville.
Survivors include one daughter, Dana (Mrs. Kevin Jarman) Wilson of Rushville; one brother, Richard Sharpe (and wife Sue) of Rushville; two sisters, Carolyn (Mrs. William) Smiley and Rebecca Sharpe, both of Rushville; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandson.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rev. Dena Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
