My Grandfather was a very hard working man. He worked on the railroad all of his life and because of that, he was not home alot to be helping raise Mom....however...after my Dad died, we went to live with Gramps and he sure got a second chance at parenthood with me. (smile)
Gramps was a very kind hearted man...very generous with his time and talent. His first heart attack was when he was 50 years old....The second heart attack took him years later.
I remember that day...I had just come home from the store and I had bought him a candy bar....not even an hour later...Mom called for me to go out on the porch and check on him...and I found that he had already crossed over...in one hand..he had his nitro...in the other hand...the wrapper of the candy bar...that I had bought for him at the store.
I took Gramps death very hard.....and I miss him so much even to this day.

My Grandfather was the greatest!
Picture is of Grandpa and I with Mom in the background.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Martha Lowe for sponsoring my Grandpa Wise. Even though Martha lost her daughter Teresa not that long ago, Martha sponsored my Grandpa Wise. So even in Marthas sorrow, she is there to help others. Martha knows the secret of life and she sure lives it.
I also would like to add that Marthas daughter, who she lost recently is Teresa Ann Lowe Ferrell. Teresa was born September 18, 1963 and crossed over on September 9, 2009.
Teresa is the mother of Abby and Zach.
Abby and Zach just lost their father recently too...a month to the day that their mother crossed over.
His name is Anthony Andrew Red. He was born April 1, 1964 and crossed over October 9, 2009.
Won't you join me in visiting their memorials and leaving a token and or message for them.
Thats alot for Abby and Zach to have to go through right now, losing both parents.
Thank You Martha Lowe and God Bless!
God Bless You Abby and Zach!

Also...I would like to take this opportunity to Thank David (Bud) Andrews for the picture of my Grandpa's stone.
That kind gesture means so much to me.
God Bless You "Bud".
