Wayne Alvin Reed, 76, a resident of Pensacola, FL for over 33 years, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007. Wayne was a Communications Technician with the United States Navy until he retired in 1973 after 27 years of service. Wayne was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. He was a member of the Navy Crypto logical Veteran's Association (NCVA), and the Fleet Reserve. Wayne liked music, collectibles, and going for bike rides.

Wayne was born in Iowa to his parents James and Clara Reed, who precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Reed, who he has been a loving husband to for 43 years. He is also survived by two sons Michael and Henry "Hank" Reed; step son Byron Steel; step daughters Patricia Jones and Kathleen Sanders; his brother Frank Reed; his sister Mary Ellen; and grandchild Lane Reed.
