MASTERS, Melinda Jean, 46, Special Education Teacher, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 30, 2008. She was a dedicated teacher for Dade County Schools for thirteen years, a world traveler and animal lover, and the proud owner of two dogs, Lacey and Eliza, two cats, Precious and Timmy, and her Arabian horse Quinn. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society.
She is survived by her fiancé, Apolo Alvarez, a sister, Marilynn Masters, three brothers, J William Masters, Bruce Masters, and Brian Masters, two nieces, Elizabeth Guevara and Bronwyn Masters, and three nephews, Jonathan Masters, Conal Masters, and Cormac Masters.
A Funeral Service will be held 7:00 pm, Sunday, August 3, 2008 with a visitation scheduled for 6:00 pm at Stanfill Funeral Home, 10545 S Dixie, (305) 667-2518.
