George W. Smyers, son of Mr. Lewis Smyers, mention of whose illness was made in these columns last week, died Friday morning last. His twin brother is convalescent and Mrs. Smyers and a younger member of the family, all sick with the typhoid fever, are growing better. George was about sixteen years of age and was a bright and intelligent youth.
