OBITUARIES
Coral Jackson Rice
Kearns - Mrs. Carol Leona Jackson Rice, 68, of 5154 S. Capehart, Kearns, formerly of Ogden, died Tuesday in a Salt Lake City nursing home.
Mrs. Rice was born June 28, 1900, in Coalville, a daughter of John Thomas and Margaret Randalle Jackson.
She was married to James Fredrick Rice on May 5, 1919, in Salt Lake City. He died Nov. 10, 1953.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are one son, Jackson Rice, Kearns; one daughter, Mrs. Frank E. (June) Pogge, South America; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Frank (Charlotte) Pogge, Roy; Mrs. Grant (Emma) Dickerson, Ogden; 12 grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother, eight great-grandchildren, Leonard Jackson, Salt Lake City; one half brother, Don Wilde, Green River, Wyo.; the following sisters: Mrs. Harold (Jane) Bullock, Coalville; Mrs. Frank (June) Toole, Coalville; Mrs. J. William (Fontella) Wilde, Petoskey, Mich.; Mrs. Douglas (Maxine) Clark, Anchorage, Alaska; Mrs. Don (Ione) Richins, Ogden.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates Chapel, 6500 S. Redwood Road.
Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 6 to 8 and Friday one hour prior to services. Burial in Redwood Memorial Estates, directed by Cottonwood Mortuary.
