Mrs. Brown, 73, of 5930 Apt. A., Evergreen Court, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 1991, at Mercy Hospital, following and extended illness. She was born Nov. 9, 1917, in Sproul, the daughter of Harry E. and Mary (Stellar) Pope, and Oct. 17, 1935, in Hollidaysburg, married Woodrow Wilson Brown, who died Nov. 2, 1965. Surviving are six children: Bonnie L. Condon, Patricia Erb, David E., Judith K. DeJaiffe and Thomas W. of Altoona and Michael L. of Penn Hills; 25
grand children and 45 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister: Eleanor Mayes of Okeechobee, Fla. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Bread of Life Bible Chapel. She was a 1935 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville.
Brown - Services for Barbara E. Brown of 5930 Apt. A Evergreen Court will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Donald E. Leibegott Funeral Home, Inc., Duncansville, by minister Paul Johnson. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9 a. m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the american Diabetes Foundation.
