In memory of Robert Boyce, who was born in Newberry Dist. And died in Charleston, at an advanced age, a victim of Yellow Fever. He was preeminently a just and honorable man. Born 1778, died 1838. [note added by David Eason, February 10, 2009 – according to City of Charleston death register he died the week of September 23-30, 1838, age 60 years.]
