A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to many, and a resident and native of White Castle, Louisiana, she passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 11:05pm at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, following an automobile accident. She was a 1998 graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School and a student at Our Lady of the Lake College. She was employed by CVT Surgical Center, AMC, as a Surgical Scheduling Coordinator. She was a new member of the White Castle Volunteer Fire Department. Her passion for life was evident in her love for her children and her ambition to become a nurse. She brought joy and laughter into the lives of every person she knew. She is survived by her daughter and son, Blatiney and Brody Anderson, fiancée', Jarred Berthelot, mother, Joyce Ramirez and Skip Usey; father and stepmother, Keety and Penny Kember; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Korey and Haley Kember, Jacob and Sunny Simoneaux, Ryder and Sara Simoneaux; maternal grandmother, Vera Ramirez, paternal grandfather, Harry Kember, Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Yves Ramirez; paternal grandmother, Joan Kember; an uncle, Jerry Ramirez, an aunt, Jane Ramirez; and cousin, Joshua Barker. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Monday, January 26, 2009 from 8:00am until 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial conducted by Father Jason Palermo will follow at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with interment following at Grace Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Darren Ramirez, Carl Maddox, Corey Caillet, Rob Kember, Jesse Landry, John, James and Jude Barker.
