Timmonsville, March 18, deaths,
Alonzo Lee Sansbury, 56, died at a Florence hospital early this morning after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Saturday afternoon from the Sardis Baptist church
conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Dwight McAllister, assisted by the Rev. M. O. Owens
of Lamar. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
The body will remain at the chapel of Ham and Perry in Timmonsville until the hours of the funeral.
Survivor's include his widow, the former Sarah Plummer of Lamar; two daughters, Miss.
Adell Sansbury of Florence, and Mrs. R. A. Herin of Florence; three sons W. L. Sansbury
of Hartsville, I. W. Sansbury of Mullins and Joseph Sansbury of Florence; one
Brother, E. J. Sansbury of Pineville; five sisters, Miss Henrietta Sansbury, Mrs.Den K.
Kelly, Mrs. L. H. Thompson, Mrs. Emerson Strickland and Mrs. W. L. Benton, all of
