Louise Worley Lowery, 91, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was retired after more than 20 years at Colonial Rubber Works, and a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.
Services were Saturday at Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Owen and Bro. James Combs officiating. Burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Newbern.
Survivors include a son, Robert "Cotton" Worley of Dyersburg; two sisters, Shirley B. Combs of Newbern and Ann King of Yorkville; four grandchildren, Milly Worley, Becky Gregory and husband, Mike, Chip Worley and wife, Buffy, and Chad Worley and wife, Kim; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Worley and Floyd Lowery; a son, Charles Franklin Worley; her parents, J.P. and Sally L. Dunn Flack; two sisters, Irma Powell and Hattie Flack; and two brothers, J.Y. Flack and Floyd Flack.
Pallbearers will be Chip Worley, Chad Worley, Bud Reaves, Charles Maxey, Lee Gregory, Mike Gregory and Drew McCollum. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. James Combs, Dr. Ralph Reynolds, Aubrey King, Dr. Jimmy Noonan and Wendell West.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Parr Avenue Church of Christ, 2240 Parr Ave., Dyersburg, TN 38024.
