There was a William M. Bailey who married a Nola Warr in 1893, but by the 1930 census, she reported they were divorced. In 1970, the grandson of that William M. Bailey, in a Sons of the American Revolution membership application, identified him as William Monroe Bailey, born 5/11/1873, died 2/28/1960. Gail and Scott Hannah have reported that a Georgia Death Index shows William M. Bailey died in Fulton County, GA on 2/28/1960.
William and Sadie Bailey lived in Barrow County, GA in 1930 and it seems reasonable to determine that Sadie may well be Sallie or Sarah. In 1940, William and Sallie Bailey lived in Oconee County, GA.
It also seem reasonable to think the two William Baileys are the same fellow, but in reality, the year of their birth and their names are the only commonality. Accuracy demands more information before it will be posted here.
