Obera Lumley, 94, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 at her daughter's residence in Dyer.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lenox Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include three daughters, Wava Jean Lumley and Joyce Ann Warren, both of Dyersburg, and Frances Gregory of Dyer; three sons, J.C. Lumley and Cotton Lumley, both of Lenox, and Thomas Lumley of Dyersburg; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Lumley; two daughters, Lois Lumley and Rosie Mae Moser; two sons, Ossie Lumley and Alvis "Junior" Lumley; her parents, Jordan Stokes and Ivy Poole Adkins; a sister, Bertha Adkins; and three brothers, Kenny Adkins, Jack Adkins and Fred Adkins.
Pallbearers will be Keith Lumley, Kenneth Lumley, Michael Gregory, Logan Lumley, J.C. Lumley Jr. and James Edward Moser. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Lumley, J.C. Lumley and Cotton Lumley.
