"A twin engine Aero-Commander, newly-registered to Telestar Aviation of Denver, Colorado, with tail number N601JJ, departed DeKalb Peachtree Airport in Atlanta, Georgia, at 9:10 on the morning of May 28, 1971. Audie Murphy and Jack Littleton from Fort Collins, Colorado, were going to Martinsville to inspect the local plant owned by Modular Properties Incorporated. The day prior, it had flown from Denver to Atlanta to pick up Murphy and his party."Jack was married to Eva Sue Littleton and left behind a family of young children.
