William C. Dollar, former resident here, died at his home in Pacific, MO, where funeral services took place on Tuesday morning, March 13 in St. Bridget's Church. Burial followed in Rock Church cemetery.
Mr. Dollar, a cooper by trade, was quite active in the turning school and served as instructor here with Louis Habermehl back in the years 1885 to 1890. He left Columbia about 65 years ago.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Heidenfelder and Mrs. Maude Apke. A sister-in-law, Mrs. Ed Dollar resides in East St. Louis.
