Georgia Anna Lambert, 94, of Manassas, passed away at the Culpeper Regional Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005.

She was born June 28, 1910 in Bird’s Creek, West Virginia to Sheldon S. McGinnis and Sara E. McNear McGinnis.

She was the widow of Michael William Lambert.

She was a member of the Culpeper Assembly of God Church and so loved the church and its people that she drove from Manassas to attend worship.

She was a very independent person; loved her family; gardening and fishing.

Survivors include her sons, Carl E. Lambert of Culpeper, and Charles E. Lambert of Old Town, Florida; her daughter, Sarah Yvonne Gill of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her grandchildren, David Lambert, Valerie Webb, John Lambert, Michael Lambert, Charles Lambert, Debbie Messer, Cindy Lambert, Billy Nestor, Gloria Carter, Jimmy Rollison and Donna Polley.

She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great, great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Marian Roberta Phillips and grandchildren, Brenda Weatherholtz and Barbara Ruark.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, in the Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clore-English Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in Tunnelton, West Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 26. Pastor Randy Albritton will conduct the service.
