Mrs. Crampton had been ill for two years. Her condition became grave after she suffered two strokes Jan. 3 and she was taken to the hospital.
Born in New Harmony, Ind. March 12, 1861, she came to Globe with her parents when she was a girl of 16 years. Except for short periods in California, she had made her home continuously in Globe.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn M. Barrett, Globe; a granddaughter, Miss Shirley Jean Barrett, Globe; two half sisters, Mrs. Florence Miller, Globe, and Mrs. Anton Trojanovich, California; and two half-brothers, Frank Pascoe, Springerville, and Fred Pascoe, Hayden.
