David,was the only child of Thomas Jefferson and Frances Robbins.David was born in Bakersfield,CA.he and his parents moved to MS.in 1958.Both his parents were Pastors,his father was the founding pastor of the Chihowa I Chuka Church,which is on the Choctaw Indian Reservation in Philadelphia,MS. his mother still pastors here.He,was married to Joyce,the first time and had two children,Tiffany and Matthew Robbins.He married my sister,Kathy,in 1986,they had no children together.He was a self employed car dealer.He will be missed by Kathy, his children,mother, grandchildren and everyone who knew and loved him.

David L. Robbins went to be home with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2009, at his home. Mr. Robbins was born June 4, 1948.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Robbins.
Mr. Robbins is survived by his wife, Kathy Langley Robbins; his children, son, Matthew Robbins and wife, Tina Robbins; daughter, Tiffany Robbins; mother, Frances Robbins; step-children, Clinton Peoples III and wife, Amanda Peoples, Shelia Espey and husband, Kameron Espey; two grandchildren; and six step-grand-children.
Services will be on today at 10:00 a.m. at Chihawa I Chuka Assembly of God in Philadelphia, MS.
John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
