BOGALUSA - Dorman Reed Pritchard, 58, a native of Kentwood and a resident of Bogalusa, died today in St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was a member of Memorial
Baptist Church, a USMC Veteran, retired Captain of the Bogalusa Police Department, Little League Baseball Coach and Board member, member of LPOA and MPOA. He was also a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren. Survivors
include his wife, Lynda Fuller Pritchard; four daughters, Mrs. David (Sherri) Williams, Tammy Seal, Mrs. Clay (Jodi) Crain all of Bogalusa, and Mrs. Robbie (Jennifer) Johnson of Crossroads, MS; a brother, Arthur James "Sonny" Pritchard of Picayune, MS; three sisters, Gladys Hollis of
Rayville, La; Ixl Amacker of Gulfport, MS, and
Janice "Cookie" Morton of Slidell; eight grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.Preceding him
in death were his parents, Alex and Nelvia Forbes Pritchard; and a sister, Jessie Mixon.Visitation will be tonight at Brown McGehee Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. and will continue after 8 a.m. tomorrow until time of the funeral service, to be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dennis Allen will officiate.Military Rights will be given by Magic City
Post #24.Interment will follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.Brown-McGehee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
