Daughter of William Thomas (Tom) Smith and Mary Catherine (Sissy) Hart. Wife of Logan M. Winchester.

Della roe Winchester, 90, of the Sea Crest community near Russell Springs, died Monday, Jan 14, 2002 at Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Clinic.

A Russell Springs native, she was born Nov 8, 1911, daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Catherine Hart Smith.

She was a homemaker and a member of Morrow's Chapel Separate Baptist Church, Jabez, KY.

Survivors include three sons, Thelba Ray (and Pearl) Winchester, Bryantsville, Ky, Glen Monroe (and Rena Ellen) Winchester, Faubush, and Arnold Logan (and Beulah) Winchester, Jabez; three daughters, Delcie Jane Foster, Sidney, Ohio, Wanda Gale (and Herbert) McGowan, Jabez, and Helen Jeanette (and Phillip) McClendon, Faubush; 29 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Logan Monroe Winchester, whom she married March 2, 1930, in Wayne County; her parents; a son, Jiles William Winchester; a daughter, Betty Ann Keith; a brother, nine sisters; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan 16, at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bros. Everett Rogers and Tim Winchester officiating.

Burial will be in Morrow's Chapel Cemetery, Jabez.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
