Mortuary Notice : Colonel H. H. Sargent.
Medford, Or Sept 19 , The body pf Colonel H. H. Sargent was laid in it's final resting place at the foot of a beautiful laurel tree in the Jacksonville cemetery Sunday afternoon. The American Legion burial ritual was observed and an address was made by Lieutenant-Colonel Kelly of Medford, at the grave. The volleys over the grave were fired by a squad of national gurdsmen and taps was sounded. The funeral services from the family home at Jacksonville, which were largely attended by people from varlcus parts of the county including the American Legion veterans and Spanish American War Veterans were conducted by Rev. J. K. Howard, pastor of the Jacksonville Presbyterian church. There were many beautiful floral tributes
