Excerpt -- Charles Lincoln Plum, 77, died last Wednesday morning at the home of his son, Homer Plum, in the Number 4 section near Tunnelton following a five-month illness of complications due to heart trouble. He was born in Preston County June 7, 1864, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Plum.
He was married to Sarah Loughry, who is deceased. The following children survive: Floyd, Ray, Clarence, Homer, Cecil Plum and Mrs. Mattie Simpson, all of Tunnelton, and Mrs. Mildred Bucklew, of Rowlesburg. Three brothers, Grant Plum, of Rowlesburg, and John and Walter Plum, of Parsons, and one sister, Mrs. Allie Beavers, of Pickens, also survive.
Services were held Friday at 2:30 at the Mt. View Methodist Church at Number 4, under the direction of the Rev. Job Jones. Interment was in the church cemetery.
