Excerpt -- Corbit Wiles, 75, of Tunnelton died suddenly Monday at his home. He was born Oct. 23, 1892, in Tunnelton, a son of the late Daniel and Sarah Shaver Wiles. Wiles was a member of the Tunnelton Methodist Church and the United Mine Workers of America and the Woodmen of the World. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Stewart Wiles; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Kimblough of Prospect, Tenn., Mrs. Mabel Shannon of Tunnelton, Mrs. Lovie Maier of Monaca, Pa., Mrs. Adelaide Sadvary of Morgantown; one sister, Mrs. Gussie Bucklew of Morgantown; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One son preceded him in death.∼The son of Daniel and Sarah Shaver Wiles,
and husband of Ethel Stewart Wiles.
Mr. Wiles was a member of the Methodist Church, the UMW of America, and the Woodmen of the World.
