Jonathon Paul Orr

Graveside services for Mr. Jonathon Paul Orr are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with the Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit.

Mr. Orr died Feb. 6, 2009, in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 5, 1928, in Hereford to the late Mr. and Mrs. Berry Orr.

He was retired from the Texas Highway Department as a surveyor.

Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Grace Orr.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Lou Orr of Whitehouse; daughters and their spouses, Barbara Navarro of Houston, Randy and George Hanna of Garland, and Susan Sellars-Ambrose and Chris Ambrose of Tyler; sisters, Joan Stutts of Frankston, and Vidabelle Cirino of Tyler; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
