First husband of Catherine de Hochepied. In 1807 she married Jacob van Lennep. His father, Peter von Heidenstam (1708-1783) was personal physician to the Sedish Kong Adolf Fredrik and Professor of Medicine. He was born in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, nowadays Germany, as Peter Petersen. In 1770 his name was legally changed to Peter von Heidenstein after being raised to the Swedish hereditary nobility.
