Ella Sarah Barton was born in 1907 in Malone, New York, daughter of George Barton and Mary (Tebo) Barton and the youngest of all of her siblings. She married Louis A. Bond on June 29, 1925 in Worcester.

The newspaper article about the wedding read: Louis Bond, 208 Austin Street, son of Albert Bond of Fitchburg, and Miss Sarah Ella Barton, daughter of George Barton, 7 Pembroke Street, were married this morning at 7 o'clock in the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus. Miss Nellie Barton attended the bride and the best man was Alfred Bond. The bride wore white satin with Venetian lace and a full length veil of tulle caught with orange blossoms. Her flowers were roses and sweet peas in a shower banquet. The bridesmaid wore gray silk with hat to match and carried butterfly roses in an arm bouquet. A reception in Fitchburg followed the ceremony after which Mr. and Mrs. Bond left for a wedding trip to Laconia, N.H.

Ella and Louis had two sons: George F. Bond and Edward L. Bond. Their daughters were Doris, wife of Paul Tinsley of Paxton and Dorothea, wife of Frank Putnam of Millbury. She also left three brothers, two sisters, a step-sister, Mrs. Blanche Plant of Rochester, NY and three grandchildren. Aunt Ella died on Jan 5, 1956.
