He had lived in the area for 12 years. he was a retired rancher, and had been crippled for 30 years from injuries received when a horse fell on him. A son, Tice, died at Stockton, Calif., just six weeks prior to Joseph's death, also from injuries received when a horse he was training fell on him.

He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarilda Arizona Inman of Globe; three sons, Ollie, Freddie and John of Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Mrs. D. Bunting of Artesia, N.M., Clara McCormick of Phoenix and Mrs. Levi Granthan of Globe; a brother, Gratts Inman of Lamar, Colo.
