Mary Ellen Griner, 91, of Blackshear, passed away early Monday morning, February 9, 2009 at the Pierce County Nursing Home.
A native and life-long resident of Pierce County, she was of the Baptist faith. She was a daughter of the late Will and Mary Boyett Griner. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Lillie Griner and Cornelia Murray; and all four of her brothers, Josh Griner, John Griner, Owen Griner and Joe Griner.
Survivors are several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will take place from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Strickland Cemetery.
