Mrs. J. P. Holland, 43, wife of J. P. Holland, vice president of the Farm and Ranch Publishing Company, died suddenly Saturday at the home, Hollandale Farm, on the Beckley road.
Mrs. Holland, a native of Fort Worth, had lived in Dallas County practically all her life. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Foute, prominent residents of Dallas for many years, who recently moved to Los Angeles.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are a son J. P. Holland Jr., a student at the University of Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. Alberta Drummond and Mrs. Marguerite Gibson, both of Los Angeles.

She was the daughter of Albert Pike Foute (1867-1955) and Willie Howard Skipworth (1871-1948). Her tombstone and most records list her as Howard Holland. Her first name of Francis is found on census records with her parents.
