Mora Ethel Husband Lane, 91, of Bryant, Ark., formerly of Kennett, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant.
Born Oct. 15, 1917, in Kennett, Mo., the only child of the late Jesse Earl and Iva Beatrice Gossage Husband. Mrs. lane was also pre-deceased by a great-grandson, Marshall Owen Hicks and a great-great-granddaughter, Brianna Nicole Johnson.

On July 18, 1945, in Norfolk, Va., she married Robert Warren Lane, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are one son, Earl Husband and wife, Patti, of Odessa, Texas; one daughter, Wini Husband Hicks and husband Bob, of Hot Springs, Ark.; two grandsons, Jon Husband and wife, Helen, of Odessa, Texas, and Warren Hicks and wife, Lisa, of Memphis, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Kim Husband Cain, of Crane, Texas, and Cassie Hicks Riley and husband, John, of Memphis, Tenn.; 11 great-grandchildren, Joshua Harmon and wife, Brandi, of Manila, Ark., Sara Riley McInturff and husband, Brandon, Rachel Riley Sanders and Katie Hicks, all of Memphis and Devin Hicks, of Williamsburg, Ky., Lindsey Flaming Constant, of Topeka, Kan., Danielle Cain, of Lubbock, Texas, Molly Cain, of Midland, Texas, Meredith and Emily Cain, of Crane, Texas, and Sam Husband, of Odessa, Texas; nine great-great-grandchildren, Leah Grace Constant, of Topeka, Kan., Taylor and Austin Harmon, of Manila, Ark., Cameron Johnson, Jalen and Michael McInturff, Jordyn and Jon Sanders and Clinton Johnson, all of Memphis, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Jerris Lane O'Bryan, of Aventura, Fla., and her beloved cousin and lifelong friend, Charlene Barham Wilburn, of Kennett.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

No visitation is planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Research.
