Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Gerrude Upshaw, 81, who died Tuesday at the Gila General Hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Walker's Globe Memorial Chapel, with Rev. L.T. Knotter, Jr., of the First Presbyterian Church, Globe, officiating. Burial was in the Globe Cemetery.
Mrs. Upshaw was born Dec. 18, 1875 at Atchison, Kansas. She had lived at Winkelman for the past 37 years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Upshaw, Winkelman; three sons, Raymond, Anaheim, Calif., John, Compton, Calif., and Blake, Globe; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Ferguson, Florence, Ky.; one brother, Oscar Bradley, San Antonio, Tex., five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
